Absolutely not! Especially for short stays, you will find more than enough to do within a stone’s throw of the house. Everything you need can be easily reached on foot. If you are staying longer or want a dose of country or sea air, there are good bus and rail links for easy day trips.

If you are coming with a car, we can provide a parking permit for one vehicle for on-street parking. No parking is allowed in St Denys Road, but parking is available in adjacent streets. You can stop at the door for unloading+loading. We will provide directions to navigate you through the tricky one-way system inside the city walls and show you where you can park.

We provide two pillows per person, one firmer, one softer, so hopefully everyone can arrange them just the way they like for a comfy night.

Q: Where are the nearest supermarkets?

Within 2 minutes you have a Tesco’s Express. Marks and Spencers Food is 5 minutes away. Two big supermarkets (Morrisons and Waitrose) are about 10 minutes on foot, located just outside the city walls. Try artisan bakers off the Shambles for delicious bread and there are deli shops with a unique range of tasty treats round the corner on Fossgate.

The super king is 180cm x 200cm. The singles are extra-long 90cm x 200cm.
