“Gorgeous house in perfect location”
This truly is a gorgeous house in a perfect location for a city break. From start to finish we had a thoroughly enjoyable short break. We found St Denys View to be a beautifully clean, comfortable and peaceful house to stay in. It was also well equipped and we felt like we were going home when we returned each day. Another advantage to St Denys View is its location, only a few minutes walk to the nearest small supermarket and other amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed walking along Walmgate and Fossgate each day with their many restaurants, delis, cafés and shops to browse and enjoy.

“Beautiful House”
We have had a wonderful family weekend in this beautiful house. Gerald and Debbie provided an excellent service and were very prompt whilst we were in contact with them. The house is so clean and provided perfect facilities with everything we needed. In less than 10 minutes walk you can arrive in the centre of York City at the minister which always takes our breath away. There are numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and shops to visit and points of history around each corner to help you take yourself back into the past of this wonderful gem of a city.

Perfect base for sightseeing and sports
10 minutes to the Minster, 2 to the closest restaurant, 3 to a store – by foot! Less than an hour by car to the coast in one direction and the Yorkshire Dales in another. This location is perfect. Loved the bedrooms, the well equipped kitchen, … and everything else. Quiet neighbours. Working Wi-Fi. Very tasteful interior decoration. Clean. Left nothing to be desired.
Perfect Little Place
We stayed here whilst visiting our daughter and son-in-law. The house was just perfect. When we arrived it was absolutely spotless and it was cleaned again halfway through our stay.
The bed was very comfortable and the street very quiet in the evenings, even though it’s a bustling part of town during the day.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again.
Perfect property!
Just came home from a super weekend in lovely York, staying at this superb property. The house is in an excellent location, is beautifully presented to a very high standard with some lovely personal touches too. The manager of the property was very accommodating and responded straight away to any queries we had. We will definitely be returning, could not recommend this place enough!
Amazing weekend stay
Booked for the weekend for a birthday getaway. The property was easy to find and in a great location.
The amenities were great, lovely and comfortable seating and beds with wonderful decor throughout.
The kitchen had everything you could need and the bathroom was great, an amazing pressure shower that you don’t often get in hotels! All in all a fab stay.
Fabulous house in great location
Loved staying at St Denys View! This is a beautiful house so comfortable and well equipped. Minutes into town on foot and right on the doorstep of some great restaurants. The house has everything you need – great bathroom and kitchen and comfortable beds with lovely linen. I visit York regularly and will be back!
I want to live here!
Charming, beautifully furnished and fully equipped terraced townhouse within walking distance to everything you could possibly want to do or see in York. We arrived after 15 hours of travel to a warm welcome from caretakers Richard and Debbie. I had hopes for the property based on the photos, but it was even better than anticipated. We are already working on figuring out our next visit!
