House is a stone's throw from town centre, so very convenient location wise Nice, modernly revamped terrace... read more house with all the usual mod cons. 2 suggested small improvements: a downstairs closet bathroom/toilet would be handy (e.g. for when 4 guests staying), and a bed settee in the living room would have helped. Otherwise, all good.

"We stayed here whilst visiting our daughter and son-in-law in York for a month. The... read more house was just perfect. When we arrived it was absolutely spotless and it was cleaned again halfway through our stay.

The kitchen was stocked with plenty of crockery for our daughter and son-in-law to join us for dinner the odd evening as well as tea and coffee for our stay. There was plenty of space left for us to do some shopping and stock up on what we needed.

The bed was very comfortable and the street very quiet in the evenings, even though it's a bustling part of town during the day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again the next time we come to York."

The amenities were... read more great, lovely and comfortable seating and beds with wonderful décor throughout. The wardrobe and bed in the double bedroom were beautiful.

We could have easily stayed for more than a weekend and been comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need - although we ate out whilst we were there - and the bathroom was great, an amazing pressure shower that you don't often get in hotels!

All in all a fab stay and will be keeping the details of the property for the future. Have already recommended to a few friends.

  Just came home from a super weekend in lovely York, staying at this superb property. The house is in an excellent location, is beautifully presented to a very high standard... read more with some lovely personal touches too. The manager of the property was very accommodating and responded straight away to any queries we had. We will definitely be returning, could not recommend this place enough!

  We have had a wonderful family weekend in this beautiful house. Gerald and Debbie provided an excellent service and were very prompt whilst we were in contact with them we... read more had no issues whilst staying at St Denys. The house is so clean and provided perfect facilities with everything we needed. In less than 10 minutes walk you can arrive in the centre of York City at the minister which always takes our breath away as it is stunning. There are numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and shops to visit and points of history around each corner to help you take yourself back into the past of this wonderful gem of a city. Thanks again for making our weekend be so special.

  Right in the heart of York, only 5 mins walk from the Minster. Beautifully appointed with good quality fixtures. Beds are very comfortable. Perfect for a short stay.
